Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure
Required disclosure under the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and North Carolina consumer-protection law. This page explains every commercial relationship that exists on this website and the firewall between those relationships and our editorial content.
Effective & last updated: August 1, 2026
1. Summary disclosure
This website contains paid, sponsored, referral, and other material connections with the local firms named on it. When you contact a firm identified on this Site as a trusted local resource, the publisher may receive compensation, referral consideration, or business benefit. Assume that every partner mention, callout box, outbound partner link, and contact form on this Site is commercially motivated, even where an individual page does not repeat this notice.
2. Who funds this site
quailhollowcharlotte.com is an independent editorial guide published and funded by a Charlotte-area building, design, and real estate group. The Site is not funded by, sold advertising by, or operated on behalf of the Quail Hollow Club, any homeowners or community association, any developer, any school, or any tournament organizer. See our non-affiliation disclaimer.
3. Material connections we disclose
- Common ownership and affiliation. The firms presented as trusted local resources — Peters Custom Homes, Peters Team Realty, Your Leader in Luxury, Peters Audio Video, and Emerald & Oak Design — are affiliated with, related to, or in an ongoing business relationship with the publisher of this Site.
- Lead generation. Inquiries submitted through any form on this Site are routed to npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com and may result in a commercial engagement, a brokerage relationship, or a construction or design contract.
- Referral consideration. The publisher may receive a referral fee, commission, or other consideration permitted by North Carolina Real Estate Commission rules when a visitor engages a licensed brokerage or contractor named here.
- Outbound links. Partner links are commercial. Links to clubs, schools, government portals, news outlets, and reference sources cited in our methodology are editorial and uncompensated.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell placement in editorial rankings, comparisons, or guides.
- We do not accept payment to remove, soften, or suppress accurate information.
- We do not publish paid content disguised as neutral editorial reporting.
- We do not sell or share visitor data — see our Privacy Policy.
- We do not use undisclosed testimonials, fabricated reviews, or incentivized endorsements.
5. Editorial independence firewall
Editorial decisions — what neighborhoods we cover, how we compare them, which facts we publish, and which sources we cite — are made under the sourcing rules described in our citation methodology. A commercial relationship does not entitle a firm to review, approve, or alter editorial copy before publication. Where a partner is also a subject of coverage, that dual role is disclosed in context.
6. No guarantee of outcome or performance
A firm's appearance on this Site is not a warranty of its licensure, insurance, workmanship, pricing, availability, or fitness for your project, and is not an endorsement by any association or club. Independently verify licensing with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, obtain competing bids, and read every contract before signing. Property statements are not offers to sell or solicitations to buy. Equal Housing Opportunity.
7. Advertising and sponsorship inquiries
The Site does not currently sell display advertising. If sponsored placements are introduced, they will be visually distinguished and labeled "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership" at the point of exposure, and this page will be updated before any such placement runs. Inquiries: npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com.
8. Your choices
You are never required to use a firm named here. You may use any of the editorial content on this Site without contacting anyone. If you believe a disclosure on any page is unclear, incomplete, or inaccurate, tell us through the correction form on that page and we will review it under our published editorial standards.
